This week, albeit short, I worked on moving my recently cataloged items to the Clark House, in addition to working on my exhibit brief
I sat down with the items I have been working with and made a thorough list, detailing what the object is and what number it corresponds with.

I also have the list of the items I could not find accession records of, which have been moved to a different pile to be handled. In addition to this, I have managed to finally sort through all the items and photograph them. Before moving them over to the Clark House, I wrapped each item in some acid free tissue paper to prevent any damage (the material rubbing together, getting oils on it, etc.), as well as grabbing a couple extra pieces to take over, in case I do not have enough. I also went through and put tags on the items with their accession numbers. I went even further and made another list (in my smaller notebook) so I could write the locations down. Last time I did this, I forgot my notebook and had to try to scribble it all on several sticky notes I had with me — making it more difficult than it needed to be. I had the intention of moving the items to the Clark House by the end of this week, but due to the weather (and Thanksgiving break) I ended up being finished earlier in the week than usual. During the week, Jonathan had mentioned the possibility of off-site hours. I would have to write an article for the Clark House January newsletter. It is entirely optional, so I am considering doing it, if time permits.
