Charles and Mitzi Hahn, with their daughter, Marissa, are starting a new part of their lives with their first home near Las Vegas. The couple lives a fast paced life, balancing work with family time. They requested a space that gives them the calm and retreat they seek after a busy day.

For this design a flexible living environment was created, using a lot of natural materials and elements, while inspiring a modern feel that maintains a bit of informality. There is usage of sustainable products and materials for the design, adding another layer of depth to the natural aesthetic of the design. The flexibility and design of the space encompass an open design, making it optimal for informal gatherings and entertaining — as they are a close-knit family who enjoys being together. The design has elements that aim to draw the outdoors in, creating an environment that is relaxing and natural.
